家长会
No school can function properly without the support of its parents. The 威彻斯特走读学校 Parent Teacher Association is an active and vibrant volunteer organization that plays a key role in our school. The goal of the 家长会 is to develop and maintain active parent participation, support student and staff needs, and reinforce the partnership between parents, 教师和学校. Through various programs and fundraisers, the 家长会 enriches the WDS learning environment and strengthens the bonds throughout the community by engaging students, 家庭, staff and administration.

I. ;痒委员会
The goal is to create and implement projects which support those in need in the WDS and greater community while teaching values of Tikun Olam and Tzedakah to our children.

II. Community and Liaison Committee
The goal of this new committee is to give the feedback of WDS parents to the administration and to share this information with all the parents. This committee will also help foster school spirit and engagement through special grade-specific projects throughout the year.

The goal is to find ways to show our appreciation to the teachers through gifts and non-monetary ways throughout the year.

Each of the above 3 committees will have 3-4 meetings per year, are responsible for sending emails on behalf of the 家长会 to parents and to encourage participation from all of the parent body.
